Christiana Amodu, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care. With more than a decade of healthcare experience and extensive expertise in behavioral health, emergency psychiatry, and substance use treatment, she is committed to helping individuals achieve emotional wellness and long-term recovery.


At RAPHA Healthcare Services LLC, Christiana provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services for adolescents and adults experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder, and other behavioral health concerns.


In addition to her outpatient practice, Christiana serves as a Clinical Nurse II in the Behavioral Health Emergency Department at UNC Medical Center, where she provides crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies. Her background includes leadership roles in inpatient psychiatric facilities, behavioral health hospitals, and substance use treatment settings.


Christiana earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Carolina Central University. She is a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse in North Carolina and maintains certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Mental Health First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).


Known for her empathetic approach, strong clinical judgment, and dedication to recovery-oriented care, Christiana partners with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote healing, resilience, and overall well-being.
